In a story you first heard on Cities 92.9, American Precision Assemblers’ new Normal manufacturing facility will start with up to 55 employees, but the company tells the Pantagraph today that number could increase.
Dave Scheck with APA told The Pantagraph on Monday, “If the economy continues to hold strong, and our ability to compete and maintain our customers, it could easily approach 100 positions.”
American Precision Assemblers makes wire harnesses and cable and mechanical assemblies for manufacturing. This facility in Normal will supply the Precision Planting in Tremont, which makes agricultural equipment.
