The following streets and parking areas will be signed “No Parking” after noon and closed starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8 in preparation for the Cruisin’ Uptown Normal event, taking place from 4-8 p.m. the same evening. These areas are expected to reopen to vehicular traffic as soon as safely possible following the event, estimated around 9 p.m.
North Street, from Uptown Circle to Fell Avenue;
Broadway, between the alley south of North Street and the Post Office;
Uptown Circle;
Constitution Boulevard, from Uptown Circle to Mulberry Street;
Beaufort Street, between Uptown Circle and Linden Street;
Portions of the Trail East and Trail West parking lots

Cruisin’ Uptown Normal is a free community event featuring dozens of classic and contemporary cars on display throughout Uptown Normal. All ages are welcome.
