An 88-year-old Bloomington man died after the recumbent bicycle he was riding was struck by an SUV Sunday, August 2, at 5:05 p.m. on West Washington Street.
McLean County Coroner Dr. Kathleen Yoder identified the victim as Wayne W. Fisher. His preliminary cause of death was multiple blunt-force injuries. Toxicology testing is pending.
The crash remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s Office, McLean County Sheriff’s Department and the McLean County Accident Reconstruction Team.
