Roadwork will begin Monday, August 24, on Hershey Road from GE Road through Jumer Drive in Bloomington.
The project will include curb and gutter repairs, storm sewer inlet work, sidewalk and curb ramp improvements, and pavement patching. The work is being done in preparation for future milling, resurfacing, pavement marking and related improvements.
Hershey Road will remain open to traffic, but motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes while the work is underway. The road will be fully reopened once the project is complete.
Road closure information and an interactive map are available at bloomingtonstreets.com. Residents can also sign up for road closure updates by email or text.
