Bloomington Parks & Recreation will host a free Senior Showcase from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the Miller Park Adult Center.
The event will connect adults 55 and older, their families and caregivers with local businesses and organizations providing services to older adults. More than two dozen providers are expected to participate.
“This event is the perfect opportunity for older adults, families or caregivers to learn about all the resources that are available to them in the community,” Program Manager Neal McKenry said.
Participating organizations include Chiro One, CIBM Bank, The Care Team, Bloomington Police Department, Arcadia Care, STAR Adult Literacy, Zoe Healthcare Services, the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, Carle Health & Fitness, Evergreen Senior Living, United Way of McLean County, Neptune Society, CCSI Case Coordination, AT&T, Western Ave. and the Alliance for Retired Americans.
The Miller Park Adult Center is on the lower level of the Miller Park Pavilion at 1122 South Morris Ave.
