Kansas chancellor Doug Girod announced Monday that Sheahon Zenger, who was hired as Kansas athletic director in 2011, has been fired “effective immediately” after failing to show ‘progress in key areas.’ Zenger was the athletic director at ISU prior to taking the position at Kansas.
