Multiple police agencies, including SWAT units, were searching early Wednesday for two suspects considered to be armed and dangerous near Dwight. The search, involving aircraft and officers with heat-sensing equipment, started late Tuesday and continued into the early morning, apparently concentrating after midnight on the area between Interstate 55 and Old Route 66 north of Illinois 17 and extending into Dwight. Officers there said they had no information but the incident was ongoing.
