A man and a woman are in McLean County jail in connection with a home invasion that police said resulted in another couple being attacked at a residence in Anchor about 4 am Monday. The 22-year-old male is charged with home invasion, possession of meth, criminal trespass to property, unlawful use of a weapon, aggravated assault and possession of cannabis. The Pantagraph reports woman has been arrested but not yet formally charged. According to a probable cause statement, the male was carrying a pistol and the woman was carrying a crowbar when they arrived at the residence of a man who was dating the male’s former girlfriend.
