The state of Illinois is about ready to start accepting tax returns, but don’t expect a quick refund. The Illinois Department of Revenue said yesterday that it will start accepting returns on Monday. But it will take at least a month to process the returns. The state says people who file online and ask for direct deposit will get their refunds the fastest.
